There are two primary interventions that we offer at present:
- The DESC (Desk) system workshop, a simple communications approach that ensure that your messages are Distinctive, Effective, Simple and Credible, leveraging the invisible margins that clear communications can bring to your business. Using a practical approach that Mr Parkes has previously used to train employees of multinationals and UK public bodies, your team explores; how to hone your organisation’s distinctive voice, how to measure the effectiveness of your communication, the value of simplicity and the path to achieving credibility.
- The BEAR observation, a Boardroom Effectiveness Audit and Review, in which one of our associates sits in (silently) at a board meeting or a series of board meetings to determine the efficacy of your approach. Harvard Business Review has found, for instance, that the voices of women are often ignored in the boardroom, so are the ideas of quieter personalities. Sometimes this means that a company with problems ignores a solution that has already come up in their boardroom and ends up paying a fortune for an external solution. In addition to sitting in, we also film one board meeting and prepare a detailed review and list of recommendations.
